Autumn on the Great Lakes!

It is the sixth of October and the weather couldn’t be better!

We’ve transited, so far, the riverway as I’ve described with brilliant Fall colors, quaint restored Lighthouses and hidden Bed and Breakfast Inns dotting the countrysides. Passing Macinac Island , I can now say I saw what many people in Michigan get to visit. Victorian period homes and vast walks among the peaceful scenery of the Upper Penninsula .
We are currently at Gary , Indiana . The ride down the Lake Michigan was as smooth as any ride could be. The weather has been very cooperative and a full moon has brightened up a dark sky.
Once finishing up here, we shall be underway, again..but not for more than a day.
It’s Still, a very rewarding experience to be onboard and historically, very fascinating, at what these boats have been through, over the years.
Until next time, have a great day.
