My Love for Vehicles

I’ve added a folder entitled, “Cars, Cars, and More Cars” to my picture section.

There, you will find pictures I’ve taken while at car shows, especially at the famed Detroit North American Auto Show dating a couple of years back. I happened to capture many new models exhibited at the venue, as well as spotting a few of my favorites. In the mix, there are a few pictures of the BMW sedan I had owned up until a couple of years ago, as well as other random shots of cars. I figured, a chance of owning a Bavarian work of art along with the mechanical understanding of how such a modern machine operates was just the thing for an automobile affection ado such as myself of owning.
The ocean lanes of shipping traffic are similar in nature to a vast and multi lane freeway most of us recognize within suburban sprawls. However, once back on Terra Firma, my envy towards the four cycle and piston driven vehicles with reciprocating engines we all are familiar with, grows strong. I tend to lean towards long drives on mesmerizing stretches of paved lanes that might lead me to unknown destinations while back from a jaunt on the ocean.
You see, a snails pace of a voyage aboard a ship is safe, and the hulk of a vessel as it lumbers with side to side motion in synchronous fashion is nurturing to me. But, as with the steady hum of a V6 engine, and a companion close by for support as rubber meets the road and as a car window is opened with the scent of tall grasses from pastures wafting within as we are whizzing by with towering conifers dotting the landscape is what I grew up remembering. Whether it be a vehicle of the road or of the sea, the art of travel is a vehicle in itself. What form of travel do you enjoy?
Enjoy the photos in the pictures section. Have a great day Folks!
