I’ve been called upon to head back to work!

Jackie who’s the coordinator at Crowley Marine called me early this morning to request my presence on board the CHEMICAL EXPLORER! The other Third Mate needs to sign off right away and head home due to a family emergency. I’ll be flying to Tampa to join the ship. Scrambling to find clothing and other necessary items to pack, I’m running around a bit in a daze. Even with all the weather concerns off the Atlantic and within the Gulf of Mexico, you shouldn’t be worried about me or the ship. I will be continuing this blog throughout the mission, once again. Travis, the other Third Mate who I’ve spoken about in previous blogs, will once again join the ship within the next few days. I will join with the familiar crew and possibly with some new faces.

I’ve posted some new pictures so please feel free to check them and place any comments. I may not be able to respond as email is limited to Microsoft Outlook on board. This trip may be only for two and a half months, or I might extend past and work three months.
